We Must Remain Christ Like In The Face Of Secular Sin

The world is filled with the sinful things of mankind. The church has a responsibility to remain true to the Spirit and nature of God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We in the Body of Christ (The Church ), Must be diligent and mindful of our commitment to remain steadfast in following the word of God, while resisting the temptation to adopt the sinful ways the world.

There is only one way to do this and that is by studying God’s word and knowing His will. His word is His will. His word and His will (PURPOSE), can be found by reading and meditating on the word, through the Bible. The bible says 1 John: 2:16, “All that is in the world; the lust of the flesh; the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but of this world.

There are so many worldly issues that confront us each and every day. Pride, ambition, lust, immorality of every kind, just to name a few; that we certainly have our work cut out for us. So our challenge is to recognize when we are out of alignment by our actions from God’s will.

God’s has the ability to convict us when we are guilty of sin; that is something inside us causes us to feel remorseful and sinful. It is at these times that we are indeed being convicted. When you feel this way, stop and understand that you have sinned against God’s nature and you need to repent, by asking for forgiveness

Remember we are the church; the body of Christ, when are in Christ, Christ is in us; so be ever mindful of sinful actions that we may commit; so that we can build up God’s church through His Son, Jesus Christ.

With God There is No Fear

Fear. God has released the stain of fear. It is an alignment issue that is not allowing God to move us from the place we are to the place we need to be. Like Joshua who was beset with stagnating fear. The children of Israel could not move. Like the disciples in the boat, who were fearful of sinking; Jesus told the sea to be still.

When we are all up against a storm; Jesus is there. Look for the hand of God in the midst of the storm. Jesus is just itching to help us; but you got to seek him out. Fear and doubt are incubators of disobedience.

If you love God; You will accept Jesus as your salvation. Jesus is your Peace. No need to fear.

God wants to know whose Got My Back? Do you trust Him?

God Helps You Through Depression

The Lord has kept me and brought me a mighty long way! Sometimes we get wrapped up in ourselves. we fell sorry for ourselves because we traveled down the wrong path. We enter into a depression, that is a sin in itself, for we have placed tremendous pressure on ourselves to be or do something that the Lord did not program us to do.

You have probably heard the saying in your walk through life “it is what it is.” Likewise, “we are who we are.” Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15:10 “But By the Grace of God, I am What I am” Be who you are”. Ask God to make you into who He created you to be. We must learn to accept our strengths and limitations. That does not mean that we should not strive to reach our full potential. It does mean that we should strive through prayer and daily walks with the Lord, through His word, to get direction for God’s path for our lives.

Depression is often triggered by a sense of failure- from setting standards and goals that are unrealistic and not within our ability to obtain them. We certainly cannot set goals that others have achieved and expect to take up these same goals. They will not fit the mold or the template of life that God has given us.

If you are depressed, remember God cares and he will not leave you alone. See proverbs 3:5-6. If you are depressed because you have raised the bar of achievement beyond your reach, asked the Lord to guide you and council you through His word, so that you will always be aligned with Him in setting goals for yourself. Remember Christ not only bore your sins, but also your sorrows and your heartaches. Recommit to the relationship you have with God and determine to be responsive and obedient to God’s will.

Roman 12: 2- “Do not be conformed to the this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Jesus Paid the Ultimate Price That Day On Calvary

We know that “God so loved the world that He gave His only Son and who shall ever believe in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life”. John 3:16 . The Lord Jesus Christ gave His life for us on the Cross at Calvary. Sometime we do not pause to understand the magnitude of that sacrifice. He was bruised, beaten, a crown of thorns placed on his head, flogged and whipped, spat upon and mocked. Stakes were driven through his hands and feet. He was pierced in the side with a spear..

Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice for our salvation and for our eternal life. We should take time each day and give thanks to the Lord Jesus, because of His incredible and caring gift of Grace. He made it possible for all of us though confession to take hold of the gift of salvation. It was truly an ultimate price that He paid, that day on Calvary. Carrying the cross to His death up the hill to Calvary. Jesus gave His life, so that we might have life and be free from the sins of the world.

The most graphic example of Jesus sacrifice is portrayed in the movie the Passion of The Christ. This movie not only showed the brutal physical torment that Jesus went through; but is also showed the Love and the deep concern that He had for our redemption. This was the ultimate sacrifice and the ultimate gift that Jesus gave us that day. So that all who believe in Him will have eternal life.

Isaiah 53: 5: “But he was wounded and crushed for our sins. He was beaten that we might have peace,He was whipped and we were healed!”

“By Jesus Stripes We Are Healed”

Our Strenght Should Be Renewed Each Day through Prayer

Just as Jesus needed prayer each day. We need prayer each day for guidance and strength from Almighty God. The task at hand each day is difficult and in a word challenging. We do not know what Challenges we will face, nor do we know the adversities that may confront us. Because of this we will need strength and guidance to face our challenges armed with the spiritual armor that only God can provide.

This spiritual nourishment allow us to renew our minds and develop our strategies to employ against challenges that we may face and also to have a clear mind that God will provide peace for us. The primary purpose of prayer is to enjoy God’s peace through Jesus Christ in all circumstances. This rids ourselves of all worry and anxiety in our daily walk through life.

Our daily walk is through a narrow road, this road is not familar; but one filled with twist and turns that test our resolve our focus, our life, and we learn what true trust in the Lord is all about. You see, he wants our complete trust to lead us and guide us through the unseen valleys and canyons of life that seems to engulf us. God wants us to free our minds and let him lead. Let him take us through each passing hour.

Begin each day with prayer and meditation; so that this day’s walk with God will be special.
