The walk as a Christian is not an easy one, with the temptations that confront us, each and everyday. It is a constant onslaught of frontal attacks from those in the secular world on a daily basis that have no intention of following the word of God. So our task is to remain steadfast as Christian in the face of what I call secular chaos that confronts us head on nearly everyday. It is a constant battle and it is one that satan is the ring leader in executing. Jesus knew that we would be persecuted by unbelievers, nearly everywhere we turned. So he warned us that we will need to be on guard to face these challenges, when they occurred.

It is an awesome and fruitful responsibility to walk with the Lord, but it is one the we much work hard at. We must renew ourselves on a daily basis so that we do not stray. That task is not an easy one. Only by remaining in the spirit and walking with God, though his word can we insure that we can whether the storms of life and find our way through life’s challenges and confrontations from the evil one.

As we struggle to take care of our spiritual meter, there are many who are lost and not in the Body of Christ. As Christian we have a responsibility to spread the good news and try to bring them to the Body of Christ. So we are confronted on many fronts, trying to keep ourselves spiritually clean while keeping and open eye to insure that our light shine, so other may see our good works. That is the difficult and challenging task at hand.

Through the Bible God gave us the tools to do this and the discernment to make it happen though meditation and Prayer with the Lord. Only through Prayer and meditation can we hope to continue to walk kin the spirit and let our light shine so that others can see our good works.

Almighty God, I pray that you will help me to continue to grow in your words, so that I can spread the Good News of Jesus Christ through my works. Help me not to judge others and give me the enlightenment that I will need to carry your torch through every corner and street of my life that I venture. Father, protect me and make me whole, so that I will continually walk in your spirit and will become a servant worthy of your holy blessed name. I pray that I will take authority though your word to accomplish your mission through your Son and Savior Jesus Christ and that I will continue to be a humble vessel to spread your word.
