Walking In the Spirit
How do we Walk In The Spirit? As we learn more and more about God’s word; we are given more to understand. More to comprehend and more to add to our foundation as members in the Body of Christ. It is not at all an exclusive club. There is no segregation and no practice at exclusion. By the Grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, anyone can become a member just by the asking.
By becoming a member you are entitled to the full benefits. Forgiveness of sins, freedom from worry and a guarantee of eternal life. Jesus paid the price for us; so there is no charge. The wonderful thing about begin a member of the Body of Christ is that you can never be kicked out and you are immune from the satan’s games and the Law of Sin and Death, that he tries to hang over your head from time to time. We are no longer under the Law as Paul put it.
Once you are a member of the Body of Christ and you pick up a Bible and study the word; God gives you understanding. More than you ever thought imaginable and suddenly , The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, come to live in you. You are transformed my the renewing of your mind. God’s goodness through His Son and Our Savior Jesus Christ, who gives us all the tools that we need to overcome any challenge and to be an evolving, growing, Christian through Christ.
Give God Thanks for Another Day and Practice Patience
|
The Lord gives us a new opportunity to each day to give praise, honor and glory to Him. With each new day that we are allowed to see. That is a new day to spread His word,to read His word and to witness to others about how God has blessed and kept us. Often we feel as it we have nothing to be thankful for. That is a sinful thought, because we are are blessed with life. We are blessed with the ability to see. We are blessed with the ability to go to work everyday with the use of our body and the physical health that God has given us.
We are blessed beyond measure with Eternal life, when we live our life through Christ. We should give thanks and Honor to God in his glory each and everyday so that we can please Him. We must learn to develop patience to wait on the Lord for his direction and his strength. So that He can orchestrate our next move. Patience is God’s Fruit of the Spirit. We must learn to give God control. When we are impatient it is a sign that we are not giving God’s Spirit complete control. No one is perfect and patient in every situation. Yet our desire as Christians should be to have a life characterized by Patience. Know that God is watching over us and that He is also blessing us in the midst of the storms of life. Even doing such times we are still blessed and encouraged by the beauty and splendor of God’s word. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control. Against such, there is not law” Galatians 5:22, 23 |
