We Are Hard Pressed, Struck Down; But Not Destroyed

Be Strong And Of Good Courage
Everything we have belongs to God. God is the ultimate source of our wealth and everything we have, want, or need. When you begin to understand this principle you can give back to the Lord your time, trust, resources, or any area that you feel so moved. God will in tun give back to you by putting wonderful people in your life, to give you hope. Stay focused on God and remember to give thanks and honor to Him everyday.
This verse was quoted in Hoosiers. The scene where the minister prayed before Coach Dale’s first game. It applies to your life as well……………………….
Joshua 1: 7- 10- “Be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do all the law that Moses has given you (The law given to Moses from God, the Ten Commandments); do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. (God wants us to prosper). This book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage: do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Worship At Anytime; Anyplace
3 John 1: 2- “I pray that you will prosper and be in health, just as your soul prospers”.
God promises that His Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11). Because of that promise, we know that as we study, meditate on, and memorize Bible verses, God will use them to bear fruit (show progress and prosperity in your life). The Bible is intended for more than just reading. God gave it to help us transform our hearts and lives.
John 4:24- While you may desire a familiar place to worship, Jesus points out that worship is not a matter of location or position, but of the spirit, (meaning you can worship the Lord at anytime or at any place). If you focus too much on the time and place, there is a danger that worship will over shadow the one you worship (Almighty God and His son Jesus Christ).
We worship in the spirit because “God is Spirit”. So we should relate to him in Spirit (your thoughts and understanding of spiritual ideas and direction ). God gives you this understanding as you draw closer to him and seek his word. God’s divine nature is a mystery at first. In time you will discover who God is, worship becomes more complete and fulfilling. Pray to God in the Name of Jesus, who saved us, when he died on the cross. No one can get to God, unless they acknowledge Jesus as their Savior. Begin or end every prayer, by saying “In the name of Jesus, I pray….Amen”.
Transformed By The Renewing Of Our Mind
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2
With the stresses that the world puts on us, the pressure that we are subjected to, the so called politically correct things we are instructed to do, this sinful world that we live in is satan’s workshop to conform us to his thinking. Make no mistake; satan is out to not only destroy you, but to destroy the world. Nothing in this world is good, nothing in this world can give you hope, salvation or security. So we must be diligent to not allow ourselves to be conformed and molded to the sinful shape of the world. We must be diligent in our work of transforming our minds and and our walk in life to the shape and purpose of the Lord.
Despite this charge, that is our purpose; to renew our minds, transform our minds on daily basis, by staying in the word, meditating on the word, hearing the word, hearing and hearing the word, over and over again. That is our unique purpose though our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
You do this by studying the word of God through the Holy Bible, not just on Sunday, you don’t have to dress up to be transformed! Jesus will accept you , “Just As You Are”. Yes you can get right out bed and work on transforming your mind. Before you get dressed for work, you can transform you mind. Don’t wait for Sunday to do this. Work on it every single day, for the rest of your life here on earth, so that you will prove to everyone, wherever you go the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Strange As It Seems
Despite all that we face in this evil world, we still will not erase the hand of God. God’s hand is everywhere. His hand is there because he has a plan for us through His Son and our Savior Jesus Christ. We don’t need a panel of experts on CNN to figure that out. No, the bible is our expert. We don’t need an equal panel of pundants, one republican and one democrat for equal representation. No, the Lord already decreed that His word is true and correct. It is what it is!
Yet we go through life searching for any fad we can lay our hands on. Miracle diets, cosmetic surgery, all because we do not like the way we look. We do not like the body template that Lord gave us. So we destroy our bodies, the way God made us,because we live for this world, this fallen world.
Strange as it seems we rely on everything ungodly to make us godly.
Strange as it seems we call good bad and bad good.
Strange as it seems we destroy anything that God’s law mandate, so that we can discredit it.
Strange as it seems we don’t believe that Jesus Christ already gave us everlasting life.
Strange as is seems we worship political correctness.
Strange as it seems we don’t believe that Jesus is Lord.
Strange as it seems we do not believe that Jesus Loves and cares for us.
Strange as it seems God Loves us and His Son Jesus Christ Loves Us.
Strange as it seems Nothing can ever separate us from the Love and Care of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We will all answer to God in the end, whether you believe that our not. He will look at how we conducted our lives, the contributions you made or did not make, how you lived your life. But first and foremost He will want to know one thing: Did You accept His Son and Our Savior Jesus Christ as the Lord of your life? Only through Christ Can you Know the Father. Come to Christ today…. before it is too late!
God Uses Our Circumstances For Good
God often uses our worldly circumstance for our good. When we live a life that is dedicated to God’s word, and we live by his precepts. Two things are certain in this world: We cannot change events or even alter them. We cannot prevent things done by those who do not know God and His son Jesus Christ. But God takes care of His Own. Even when we make decisions that are not according to his will. When we love the Lord and follow his precepts, he still watches over us in ways that we struggle to understand. God always makes a way for us despite our blunder and missteps. Just keep on serving and following the Lord……. He’s always acting for the Good on our behalf.
There is always a silver lining for good, even in difficult circumstances.
God Word Is our Protection In A Lost World
You know satan is fast at work, particularly in this world; and people are buying into his lies. It seems everyone is trying to neutralize God and His word. They are attempting to obstricsize, and cloud our hearts, minds, and mouths, from spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ and His message is broad and diverse. It’s all around you and the trendy, sinful things in this world, and those who try to to make God’s word, politically incorrect; to defuse and confused us.
If you have no foundation in the word and know nothing about it, you are at risk to eternal damnation, easy game and easy prey for satan’s deceptions and satan’s lies. You know this world has never been a true friend to anyone, so it absolutely apparent that we must learn to stand firm when the winds of deceit blow way over one one hundred miles per hour. If you don’t know Jesus, you will be lost in the shuffle. You can try all the fads, the trends; they are all sinful and have no good purpose, except to condem you to eternal damnation and an eternal life of suffering. You can reverse the trend and find way to salvation by asking Jesus to come into your life, before it’s to late..
Applying Gods Word Opens Doors In Our Lives
Our life and direction is often compared to walking a path in the bible. As we follow God’s word, he clears the way for us. Shows us the directions and helps us avoid pitfalls and distractions that so easily ensnares us. He has a map, a road mark that gives us discernment and a blue print of how to navigate the tight curves and bumpy roads of life. It is called the Holy bible. We can learn God’s words for our life as we read the bible and apply it’s truths.
One thing we can be sure of all scripture is inspired by God and has remarkable power to transform you. When you live in obedience to God’s word, you are acting in agreement with his will. This put you in spiriual alignment and in a position to receive his blessings for your life. Without this alignment God cannot bless you, when you do not have God in your life and have not accepted His Son and Our Savior Jesus Christ into your life, you cannot esperience God’s care and direction.
Ask God For Discernment and Wait On Him Prior To A Decision
We need to examine where we are heading. That is, the path or direction that we have chosen to take. As we walk down that path it may seem awkward, the road is bumpy, and it appears that we may have taken a wrong turn; in a word we or lost. How do we get back to the main road and the path that will deliver us to our destination? That is what we do in life; we take the wrong road, because our emotions and our zeal to make something happen always leads us to make decisions that are not entirely the right decisions. We are not on the correct path. Our enthusiasm leads us to do things that are not in the best interest of our family and we need to take stock and wait on the Lord. Wait on his message and be open to hearing it.
It is challenging sometime to here that message. In fact we can miss it. It requires prayer and meditation to discern it. If you are struggling with this, as I often do, Join me in this prayer, perhaps it can help us both:
“Dear Lord, Thank you for your care and for strengthening me with the breath of life today. I give praise and honor to your Holy Name for giving me this day. I know that you are with me for eternity; here doing this life, and the life that awaits me in heaven. Father I pray that you will bless all who read this prayer, that we will all step back and wait patiently for your word and direction. Father I know that we must keep moving for nothing can be accomplished for you through us by inaction. I pray to you that you will work though the people you have placed in our lives so that the pieces of the puzzle can come together to lead us down that right road. The road may be bumpy, but Father you will repair it for the rest of the journey.
I pray Father that you will give all who read this pray the discernment that we will need to make the correct decision, so that Our lives will honor You and Your glory. Help us to protect our family and move forward through each situation in a way that will strengthen us and lead us in the right paths. In this I ask it in the name of our blessed Savior Jesus Christ. I ask it all in Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
“I can do all things through Christ who straightens me”
Proverbs 4: 20-27
Calming The Waters of Life (Living Above Our Circumstances)
Jesus said to his disciples, “Peace be
Still”, and the waters were calmed. Those were powerful words of
reassurance and an instructions to the disciples to rely on their
faith in Jesus. We find ourselves leaning safe and secure from all
alarm. Just like Jesus calmed the waters in a storm, He will calm
our waters in the face of adversity. You know what I’m talking
about. All of us have our adversities, our circumstances have a
number of ways to cause havoc in our lives. We could be dealing with
numerous adversities at the same time throughout our lives. How do we
confront challenges that seemingly overwhelm us, take control of us,
and cause our faith to be tested. Paul faced adversity ( 1
Corinthians 11: 24-23) Paul received;
-
Five stripes minus one
-
He was beaten with rods three
times -
He was stoned
-
He was shipwrecked three times
-
Paul suffered many perils
-
He ultimately gave his life for
the Lord
There are many other challenges that
can resign you to in action in adversity, a job loss, loss of a love
one, or what ever you are facing. Cast your anchor, and fight the
wind. You know you are in the storm because God wants you to learn a
lesson. Remove yourself by keeping the faith, listening to and
studying the word and through positive action. Above all live and
function above the storm and your circumstances. That’s how you
defeat the storms of life, by resting in the Lord of Jesus Christ
through Faith. The Lord may not remove your adversity, but he will
give you the spirit to ignore it and achieve the growth through
faith that only he can provide.
