Worship At Anytime; Anyplace

3 John 1: 2- “I pray that you will prosper and be in health, just as your soul prospers”.

God promises that His Word will  not return void (Isaiah 55:11). Because of that promise, we know that as we study, meditate on, and memorize Bible verses, God will use them to bear fruit (show progress and prosperity in your life). The Bible is intended for more than just reading. God gave it to help us transform our hearts and lives.

John 4:24- While you may desire a familiar place to worship, Jesus points out that worship is not a matter of location or position, but of the spirit,  (meaning you can worship the Lord at anytime or at any place). If you focus too much on the time and place, there is a danger that worship will over shadow the one you worship (Almighty God and His son Jesus Christ).

We worship in the spirit because “God is Spirit”. So we should relate to him in Spirit (your thoughts and understanding of spiritual ideas and direction ). God gives you this understanding as you draw closer to him and seek his word. God’s divine nature is a mystery at first.  In time you will discover who God is, worship becomes more complete and fulfilling. Pray to God in the Name of Jesus, who saved us, when he died on the cross. No one can get to God, unless they acknowledge Jesus as their Savior. Begin or end every prayer, by saying “In the name of Jesus, I pray….Amen”.

Ask God For Discernment and Wait On Him Prior To A Decision

We need to examine where we are heading. That is,   the path  or direction that we have chosen to take. As we walk down that path it may seem awkward, the road is bumpy,  and it appears that we may have taken a wrong turn; in a word we or lost. How do we get back to the main road and the path that will deliver us to our destination?   That is what we do in life; we take the wrong road, because our emotions and our zeal to make something happen always leads us to make decisions that are not entirely the right decisions. We are not on the correct path. Our enthusiasm leads us to do things that are not in the best interest of our family and we need to take stock and wait on the Lord. Wait on his message and  be  open to hearing it.

It is challenging sometime to here that message. In fact we can miss it. It requires prayer and meditation to discern it. If you are struggling with this, as I often do, Join me in this prayer, perhaps it can help us both:

“Dear Lord, Thank you for your care and for strengthening me with the breath of life today. I give praise and honor to your Holy Name for  giving me this day. I know that you are with me for eternity; here doing this life, and  the life  that awaits me in heaven.  Father I pray that you will bless all who read this prayer, that we will all step back and wait  patiently for your word and direction. Father  I know that we must keep moving for nothing can be accomplished for you through us by inaction. I pray to you that you will work though the people you have placed in our lives so that the pieces of the puzzle can come together to lead us down that right road. The road may be bumpy, but Father you will repair it for the rest of the journey.

I pray Father that you will give all who read this pray the discernment that we will need to make the correct decision, so that Our lives will honor You and Your glory. Help us to protect our family and move forward through each situation in a way that will strengthen us  and lead us in the right paths. In this I ask it in the name of our blessed Savior Jesus Christ. I ask it all in Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

“I can do all things through Christ who straightens me”

Proverbs 4: 20-27

We Must Learn to Forgive And Forget

Some things in life seems to hang over our head like an albatross.  We never get over acts that were committed against us. We allow these feelings to torment us throughout our lives. Likewise we never forgive those who have committed  harm against us. Either way we end up living our life in alienation from God and His word, simply because we are not willing to forgive. God’s forgiveness is limited and He established provision through Jesus Christ, His only Son who gave His life  for  our sins. He freely gave of Himself so we would have an avenue for forgiveness through Him.

This raises the logical question, If Jesus can forgive us, why can’t we forgive others?  God is merciful. We do not deserve His mercy, but we can depend on His forgiveness through Jesus Christ. The bible says God forgives and forgets sins. So must we. We must fogive and we also must forget.  When we carry feelings of resentment around. it is a huge pity party that stagnates our development. Strangely it seems to be a validation of our feelings, which are unforgiving. We cannot allow this to happen to us and remember how God has freely forgiven us and we should freely forgive others. If Christ can forgive us by dying on the ross and giving us a way to eternal life, we can and should forgive others.

Jesus Opens Doors and Rewards Those Who Accept Him and Follow His Word

I know your works. See I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it;  for you have little strenght, have kept My word, and have not denied My name…….Revelations 3:8.

Sometimes the door to opportunity is placed right in front of us, yet we do not see it. The great relevation of this is that this door cannot be closed and no one can do anything to shut it. It is God’s way of opening opportunites in our lives. If we have tried to live by His precepts and His word our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, will never leave us or forsake us, even in our darkest hour.  Nothing that we do is in  vain. The Lord sees our work and has a plan to lead us out of the wilderness.

Prepare in council with the Lord. Read, meditiat and reflect on His word and. Prepare a plan or blueprint for whatever your job is here on earth and wait patiently on the Lord

Do Not Limit A Blessing With Your Thinking

In tough times when I am in life’s wilderness, when I am  confronted with one challenge after another, I like to dig deep into  the Word of Almighty God and His Son and My Savior Jesus Christ, and listen to “The Helper”,  “The Holy Spirit”.    Who guides us  and gives us the discernment that we need to make it through the wilderness.  The wilderness of despair, there are thick woods there, you need a tool to clear the path.   Jesus sent the  guide ‘The Helper” to clear the path  for us through the wilderness.

I find myself relying increasingly, faithfully, on the one thing that is real.    The one thing that we can bank on …… The Promises of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.   He Is Real.    Through Christ I rely on Him and I find myself going back to this truth when I’m in the wilderness.  “I walk  by Faith and Not By Sight! No I can’t see the future.  But I know that no matter what happens to me, God is on the Throne.  I know that He will lead me out of the wilderness either here on earth or  when I enter into eternity.    I know this because Jesus is Lord and He is My Savior and By Grace He saved me.  No one goes to the Father, Unless He Knows and accepts Jesus Christ and honors the work of Grace that He performed for us on Calvary. I  don’t presume to know what the Lord will do for me.   It is  an open book.  The Jury is out.  I do know That whatever trial I’m confronted with, there is no telling, what God will do!  We can’t figure it out. We can’t predict it.  I want let bad, destructive, negative  thinking ,  to keep me from my blessing.     I release the shackles; don’t limit your blessing with your thinking.  Who are we to try and limit the wonders and the power of the Lord?  “God Can Do Anything, But Fail”

I refuse to let  satan, handcuff  my thinking.  We all must let God Be God and Remember to  “Walk By Faith and Not By Sight”.  Through Jesus Christ and In His Holy and Blessed name, all things are possible; if you only believe.

“I WALK BY FAITH NOT BY SIGHT”

Walking In Faith Questions

Where are doubts coming from?

Has God ever failed you?

Does He not promise to meet my needs?

Did Jesus  send the Holy Spirit;  “The Helper” to live in us?

Did God promise to be with me at all times?

Is anything too hard for God?

Is this a fork in the road where my unbelief could cause me a lifetime of grief?

Faithfully obey God in confidence. Whatever appears to be a loss, He is going to turn it  for a gain.   Focus on God, Not the Circumstance.

“God causes all things to work together for Good to those who love Him and a called according to His Purpose.  Romans 8:28

Don’t Be Held Hostage By Life’s Trials

Through trails, pitfalls and tribulation, I’m still here. Often we are confronted with the remnants of this fallen world. Layoffs, sickness, despair, depression;   seemingly one crises after another.   The weight  just gets heavier an there is absolutely no way we can bear that burden along.   When times like these occur, it’s time  to step back and let go.  That’s the philosophy I use.   Just step back and let God be God.      You know if we spend all our time worrying about one thing to another, there  is absolutely no way we can function in this fallen world.   So we need solace, a mental refuse; something that only God, can provide through his word.

It does not matter what this world throws at you.  What unfortunate situation that you’re confronted with with, step outside of yourself and take hold of that heavenly kingdom that God has created  within you , so that you can live above your circumstances.  People say you got to meditate; no the only thing you must do is know Jesus, through Him you know the Father and the Holy Spirit, which will make everything alright.

Reading the Bible is a great way to to find solace, as Jesus said, when you are faced with the many trials that we face in this world, the Father sends  the  “helper”, the Holy Spirit to guide us through difficult times.     We are blinded from seeing the future and from seeing outcomes, but God Is Real, and He is true to His word.    So when you feel yourself confronted with mulitple problems, difficult challenges,  that test your resolve,  remember, God will always make a way when it appears to be no way, through His Son   and  our Savior Jesus Christ.

Seek First The Kingdom of God

The word “seek” is included in many verses of the bible.   It is an action verb that requires a definitve action in order to obtain information or answers.   When you seek something you usually go all out to find it. This information creates a void in us until we finally find what we are looking for.   Have you ever lost something and sought to  find it?   I’m sure  this is something that we all have experienced.  When we seek something dilligently it consumes us, because we have placed some sort of value on whatever  the lost item is.  Why is it that we don’t place the same value or seek first the Kindgom of God?   Is it not more valuable than any earthly item or keepsake that we sometimes seek?     We also seek out knowledge.    Why do we spend more time seeking to know information in order to let others know how smart we are?  So that we will be known as an an expert?   It is more important that we know things that will better our career or our social standing in this world.    But seldom do we seek to better and enrich our spiritual bank; that is to know more about God’s Kingdom and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Matthew 6: 33 says “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things  shall be added unto you”.

We place everything first before the Lord.  We seek out information. We seek out promotions.  We seek to know the latest gossip.  We seek to have the most important job title.  We seek to the the first in our circle of friends to have a news car or the latest electronic toy.  We seek more money.  But rarely do we seek to know the Lord.  If you believe Matthew 6:33, all of the above will be added if you seek first the Kingdom of God.

That is where we can do oursleves the most good.  It matter not what others in this fallen world think of us.  What matters  is what our Heavenly Father thinks of us and the work that we do for the honor and glory of  his kingdom. When you find yourself   frantically looking for a lost item, our trying to secure a promotion, stop and ask the question; Or you seeking  First the Kingdom Of God? Are you putting God first?    That is the most important thing you can do.   Are you happily seeking His Kingdom?   This should be you number priority just because  GOD should have first place above any and everything in your life.   Learn to love the Lord and not earthly things or earthly accolades.

God Will Never Leave Us Alone

Adversity though our constant companion is never our friend. It will always follow us presenting challenges and sometimes weakens our resolve. But adversity cannot overcome the resolve of Almighty God, who is a our anchor in the face  of  turmoil. The Lord promised to never leave us; never to leave  us alone.  We may not be able to  rid our life of problems, pitfalls, setback and despair; but we can learn to live confidently knowing that Almighty God will be there for us in good times and in bad.  We can learn to  know that His word and His care is real and that we can choose to walk each day above the circumstance in peace.

Jesus said that he will never leave us; never will leave us alone and that is a powerful testament to His eternal commitment to us through Son and our Savior Jesus Christ.

The Holy Spirit is Powerful

God send the Holy Spirit to come and live with those who accept Jesus Christ as our savior. The Holy Spirit guides us and helps us with discernment and instruction as to how we should live our lives to the honor and glory of the Lord. We often can discern the Holy Spirits presence , when instinctive feelings tell us that we are not living our lives the way the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ would have us live.

It is with discernment and understanding that God gracefully give us what we need to insure that we align our lives with thoughts and wishes of the Lord. This is the single most important thing that we can do; aligning our lives with the direction of the Lord and focusing our attention on the Body of Christ and the Nature of God. The Holy Spirit give us this discernment and teaches us how we are to focus our attention on being committed and focused Christians.

By the Grace of Jesus and the work He did on Calvary, Almighty God, because he Was honored by Jesus work, gave Him all power over Earth. In our walk as Christians, we can be sure that God has dispatched the Holy Spirit to help us in our quest to live Godly and fruitful live
